Transfer BlackBerry Contact in Outlook 2007

Transfer BlackBerry Contact in Outlook 2007

Because BlackBerry phones are a de facto standard in work and business, they include the ability to sync information from Microsoft Outlook, such as email, tasks, calendar scheduling and contacts. Transferring your contacts from your BlackBerry to Outlook provides you with an additional backup in case something goes wrong.

  1. Open the BlackBerry desktop manager program. If you do not have this program, use the link in Resources to download it.
  2. Choose "Synchronize" from the left menu choices.
  3. Choose "Synchronization," located in the upper-right Configuration menu.
  4. Choose "Address Book" from the synchronization menu choices.
  5. Select "Outlook." If you do not have Outlook, select "Windows Mail."
  6. Select "One way sync from device."
  7. Choose "Next."
  8. Click "Finish." You will be redirected to the synchronization screen. Select "Synchronize organizer data." Afterward, select "Synchronize." Once the Synchronization is complete, you can view your contacts once you open your Outlook or "Windows Mail."
